Wazzzzup. Just thought I'd make an easy-to-follow money making guide for all you newcomers out there! Enjoy!
1. Thieving
Thieving is super simple! All you have to do is run south from the spawn (or Home tele) And click the stalls. Here's the order/levels required/cash flow from each stall!
Crafting Stall ~ Level 1-25 ~ 79k + Chocolate cake
Food Stall ~ Level 25-50 ~ 79k + Silk
General Stall ~ Level 50-75 ~ 79k + Gold ring
Magic Stall ~ Level 75-90 ~ 79k + Silver dust
Scimitar Stall ~ Level 90-99 ~ 79k + Red topaz
All of the items received from the stalls can be sold to "Sigmund the Merchant" on the outside south wall of the edgeville bank.
2. Hunter
Hunter is a phenomenal way to make money. First, open your spell book and look for the "Agility/Hunter" teleport, like so
Then click any of the boxes surrounding the Agility net and get yourself a Butterfly net!
Now you can start capturing some things! Here's the level requirements for all of the implings! (The real money starts coming in around level 74 or so)
Baby Impling ~ Level 1-17
Young Impling ~ Level 17-20
Gourmet Impling ~ Level 20-34
Earth Impling ~ Level 34-40
Essence Impling ~ Level 40-50
Eclectic Impling ~ Level 50-65
Magpie Impling ~ Level 65-74
Ninja Impling ~ Level 74-90 (cash flow time. These sell for 199k ea in the general store.)
Then finally, the Dragon Impling. Level 90 hunter is required to catch these, but it's recommended that you wait until 92 or so to catch them. makes them a bit easier. These will give you about 338k each if sold to the general store.
Pretty straight forward skill!
3. Slayer
Duradel, the slayer master can be found just south of edge bank. Right inside the building with all of the coffins.
Slayer is pretty straight forward, Duradel will tell you what to do, and you just have to go and kill what he tells you to kill.
A lot of slayer tasks are going to take you to the slayer tower. There you'll find Abyssal Demons, Nechreayls, Gargoyles, Dust Devils, etc. Most of which are on different floors.
There is a bug with slayer at the moment though. If you get a Goblin task, tele to lumby, walk out of the castle and over the bridge to where the Goblins are in RS, and only kill the level 5 Goblins. You shouldn't get this task unless you request an easier task, but in the even that you do, the level 13 goblins DO NOT count towards your kill count.
This is the reason slayer is worth some money.
With 1000 points, you can buy a chaotic rapier, which does not have a set price, to my knowledge. but it's not easily obtainable, and it's a pretty op weapon. So it's worth quite a bit. This will be updated as prices start coming out.
And finally, #4. PVMing
This one obviously had to be in here. PVMing, if you're lucky and get a nice drop, can be extremely valuable.
You'll be able to find the "Boss Teleport" in your spell book, under what was originally the Fally teleport.
There are also a few bosses that aren't in the boss teleport page. Such as Kalphite Queen, and the Giant Mole. These two bosses can be found by talking to the "Adventurer" at home, just west of the spawn, inside of the walled in structure.
Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading guys! I'll update as more money-making opportunities come and go. Enjoy!
